Wear and depth

Tyre wear affects vehicle performance and safety. The deeper the groove, the more grip and traction your tyre will have. Make sure you regularly check the tread depth of your tyres and replace them when they are worn.

You can check the tread depth by using a depth gauge - tyres should be changes when groove depth is less than 2mm.

Tyre pressure

Keeping your tyres at optimum pressure reduces the risk of loss of control and protects from premature wear and damage. Tyre pressure can drop due to small perforations, the natural escape of air or a decrease in ambient temperatures.

You'll find the recommended tyre pressure for your vehicle in the user manual, on a door/doorframe label or on the inside of your fuel flap.
